Spring
Spring’s here. It’s the time for the kids to go out to play something. It does not matter it is riding bike or playing soccer, or playing some chess games.
This was the picture I took at the hallway of the first floor of the tournament Abe played one week ago. It brought me a good mood. I went upstairs. Looking through the window, I saw he’s one of last boards playing. “A job well done, Abe”, I told myself — I am always glad if he’s one of last. The earlier he steps out the playing room, the worse he plays, often loses without a fight.
Last weekend, Abe played the Barber Qualifier. He must did OK, yesterday Mommy asked him “How is the tournament?”
He replied something like “A successful learning process.”
“Successful? No!” I thought, “learning process, I hope Abe’s sincere this time.”
